Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

Y’all. I just made a Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte that is soooo good!

All I’ve been hearing lately is, “It’s PSL Time!” That got me thinking that there has to be a way to make this myself. I’m not about to drive to town for this thing.

If you read my post about saving money on your grocery bill, then you know I’m not a Starbucks person. I don’t buy coffee while I’m out. It’s overpriced. Therefore, I’ve gotten pretty good at making specialty coffee at home.

So, I’m here to say that it’s “PSL Time” at Big House in the Woods too!

Hit play!

Here’s my recipe for the latte:

2 cups milk
3 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon homemade pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup coffee

Heat milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar in a small pot on the stove. Whisk together.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and hot coffee.

Top with homemade whipped cream and a sprinkle of homemade pumpkin pie spice.

Homemade pumpkin pie spice:
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

There you have it! It’s so tasty!

You should have seen The Man’s face when he got home from work and I handed him this latte. It was priceless! It even made the whole house smell like Fall.

It’s going to be a good Fall, y’all!

Leave a comment and let me know if you try it!

  1. This sounds really tasty! To keep it Keto I will probably use unsweetened or sweetened almond milk, maybe a little heavy cream, too! 🙂 Three Tbs. sweetener or maybe 2-1/2 Tbs. Stevia can replace the sugar. Thank you!
